Moot Editorial and Design | The Moot Shed in Mumbles, Swansea

The Moot Shed is where we do our work. It sits in the corner of the garden and with its glazed front allows us to feel part of our surroundings as we sit at our desks. (Take a look at our garden blog so you can see what we're seeing around us.)

Built in the summer of 2009 (and you can see the build in progress if you click on the pictures to the right), it has fast become a creative, efficient environment in which Moot can go about its business. Its design, put together in conjunction with local landscaping company Landed (a very good, small business also based in Mumbles), demonstrates some of our key creative drives. It sits elegantly within its space, it is practical, makes the best of available materials, but is bespoke, squeezed into an irregular space, although you would never know to look at it. It's also heavily insulated, and requires minimal heating...in fact, the heat generated by the lighting and our computers is enough to keep us warm most of the time.

We love it, and would be very happy to see you for a cup of tea in the Moot Shed if you would like to chat about work, or for that matter the garden.
